How to use porcelain tile adhesive

Check the surface before tiling. It should be smooth, firm, and free of grease, dust, and loose particles. For tiling over old tiles, remove the glaze. To prepare the adhesive, mix 3-4.4 liters of water with ten kg of powder, using an electric mixer for Three minutes to form a uniform paste. Let the paste sit for 10 minutes and adjust if needed. The adhesive should cover the tile’s back without separating. Apply it to both the tile back and surface with a notched trowel, pressing and moving the tile slightly to enhance adhesion. Install tiles within Thirty minutes and use the adhesive within two hours. Dried adhesive can’t be reused or diluted. Bonding time is Twenty-four hours for highly absorbent surfaces and longer for less absorbent surfaces or large tiles

Consumption rate

Depending on the roughness of the surface under the work and the condition of the grooves on the back of the tile, about 3 to 6 kilograms of powder tile adhesive are required to cover one square meter
