How to use block glue

  • First, ensure the quality of the surface under the work (the surface under the work must be smooth, sound, of appropriate strength, and free of any grease, dust, and loose particles). If the surface under the work has cracks and holes, fix the defects of the surface under the work using TN400 block adhesive before laying the blocks
  • To make TN400 Block Adhesive, mix each 10 kg with 3 to 3.2 liters of water using an electric mixer. To do this, slowly add the water to the powder and continue mixing for 3 minutes until a smooth, uniform paste is obtained
  • Leave the resulting dough alone for 5 minutes and then adjust its consistency using water, if necessary, according to the practitioner’s preference
  • After preparation, apply a 3 to 5 mm thick layer of adhesive to the groove of the block under the work with a notched trowel and place the first block on it. Apply adhesive to the vertical walls of the block with a notched trowel and place the new block next to it in the appropriate place. Clean up excess adhesive protruding from the joints of the blocks and continue these steps until the end of the masonry

Note: The best temperature for block paving using TN400 adhesive is +10 to +35°C. If the ambient temperature is less than +5°C, use warm water to prepare the adhesive. And prevent the wall from freezing in the first 24 hours

Consumption rate

On average, every 20 kilograms is suitable for 1 cubic meter of blocks of any thickness for a porcelain wall
